2024 California Examination Matter
In December 2024, Analog Capital Partners resolved an administrative matter with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation arising from the firm’s failure to respond to a routine examination notice delivered by email. The email was not recognized and escalated as an official regulatory examination request, and the firm did not receive a separate paper notice. Analog Capital Partners subsequently strengthened its procedures for identifying, monitoring, and escalating regulatory communications. The matter has been resolved, and the firm remains approved to operate as an investment adviser in California. The matter was procedural and did not involve client losses, misuse of client assets, investment recommendations, portfolio management, performance, or fraud.
